Why we built MARÉE

Salt & Pepper has been part of Medulin since 2013.
Over the years, some dishes became clear favourites among our guests. One of them was always our burger.
When we decided to create something new, the idea was simple: take some of our most popular dishes and offer them in a street food format, without compromising on quality.
That's how MARÉE was born.
Not as another fast-food kiosk, but as an extension of the Salt & Pepper philosophy — quality ingredients, careful preparation and attention to every detail.
We work with many of the same suppliers we trust in our restaurant. We make our own sauces, pickle our own cucumbers, marinate our own onions and prepare our own beef blend.
Alongside our smash burgers, you'll find crispy buttermilk chicken burgers, golden chicken tenders, loaded fries, fried prawns, Philly cheesesteaks and a vegan burger created for guests looking for a plant-based option. Each item follows the same philosophy: quality ingredients, careful preparation and no shortcuts.
You'll find us by the waterfront, where people stroll, meet friends and enjoy the evening. A place where great food can be enjoyed without a reservation, without waiting and without compromising on quality.
